Curt's Salsa was founded in 1994 by Curt and Betty Hollister of Frederic, Wisconsin. Made in small batches with quality ingredients, the "special recipe" used to make Curt's Salsa garnered a local following of salsa fans in Wisconsin and Minnesota.  Unfortunately due to illness, Curt and Betty were forced to sell their company and in August of 2007 it was purchased by Montero Distributing. 

Founded in 2007 by Monty and Terri Brine of Stillwater MN, Montero Distributing is a family-owned and operated business focused on bringing high-quality products to grocers throughout the Minnesota and Wisconsin area.  With Curt's Salsa as our flagship product, Montero will follow Curt and Betty's tradition of manufacturing the salsa in small batches following Curt's own "special recipe".
